Follow THESE Aftercare Instructions
#1 LEAVE YOUR BANDAGE ON FOR AN HOUR:
Make sure that your bandage does not stay for more than 4 to 5 hours. Leave it for at least one hour. Use all the hygienic and medically approved products in this regard. Rebandaging will never be a good choice. If you feel it require – consult your artist or get an aid of a medical professional.
#2 WASH YOUR TATTOO WITH HOT WATER AND UNSCENTED PRODUCT
Remove the bandage slowly and wash all the tattooed area with a hot water accompanied with unscented liquid soap.
#3 PAT DRY WITH A SOFT CLOTH:
Pat dry your tattoo with a clean soft cloth. Allow air to come for an hour. After this, you can apply any mixture or lotion to it.
#4 APPLY A THIN COATING OF LOTION AND TATTOO GOO:
Apply a thin layer of any lotion with Tattoo GOO and gently massage to the point where the tattoo is partially dried or seems moist. Its mandatory not to go for a lotion that contains any harmful agent; preferably choose one where it is clearly mentioned that its “fragrance-free”
Refrain yourself from using the A&D ointment as their high petroleum content will hinder the breathing process. Whereas it’s essential for your skin to breath otherwise in absence of oxygen or breathing it will result in pores or clogging.
#5 KEEP YOUR TATTOO WASHED WITH SOAP AND WATER:
The foremost part of the quick healing and maintaining the health of your tattoo is to properly clean the tattooed part with water and soap. its understood, if you are going to a party or any picnic wash it more often than sitting on the couch and watching your favorite shows.
#6 REPEAT THE TATTOO AFTERCARE FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS
Stay focused and determined and stick to the process for one or two weeks. You will see skin shedding. Don’t panic instead wait and let them fall off naturally. Never scratch or over-saturate tattoo in the water. it will melt and cause it to fall prematurely. This haste will leave the blank spots that will further require touch ups or change.
#7 NO SUN, NO SWIMMING DURING THE HEALING PROCESS
MAKE SURE NOT TO SOAK YOURSELF IN WATER AND AVOID THE SUN EXPOSURES BY REFRAINING YOURSELF TO GO FOR AN OCEAN, JACUZZIS OR POOL.
#8 AFTER YOUR TATTOO IS HEALED:
never forget to use sunblock every time you go outside for either way. Stay home or avoid sun exposure at peak hours (9 am to 4 pm) as it will fade the color and crispness of your tattoo.
#9 THE BETTER YOU TAKE CARE OF THE SKIN THE BETTER THE TATTOO WILL LOOK:
consider it as a professed rule of action that better you take care of skin the better the tattoo will look underneath. So don’t be experimental, courageous or adventurous during your healing process, wait patiently until you get all healed up.
#10 AFTER YOU ARE ALL HEALED:
it will require at least 2 weeks your wound to all healed. No matter if you are satisfied with the healing process, do visit the artist to ensure that it does not require any further touch-up and it’s successfully cured. Generally, for up to a year THE ARTIST WON’T CHARGE for such do-up or retouch.
