The Media and Democracy Coalition (MDC) is hiring a full-time Organizing Project Director to oversee local, state and regional organizing and advocacy efforts on media and telecommunications issues.
MDC is collaboration of more than two-dozen organizations united to amplify the voices of the public in debates over media and telecommunications issues. We bring together leaders in the media policy and organizing fields to work together, develop and share resources, make strategic planning and investment decisions, and expand the number and type of organizations that work for public interest media policies. • Provide regular back-up, assistance and skills training to partner groups.
• Assist the Executive Director in local and national fundraising to grow and sustain the project.
